After the vineyard, our steps lead us to the winery, the place where the grapes are turned into wine.
Tapas lunch at La Tapería in the winery.
Jerez city tour. It is the quickest way to get to know the city that will host your travellers for 7 days.
Free Evening
Day 3 - DAY TRIP SANLÚCAR DE BARRAMEDA
Visit Doñana National Park. It is one of Europe’s most beautiful and important wetlands. What makes this national park so special is that in just one day you can see very different ecosystems: marshland, lagoons, pine groves, aloe veras, moving dunes, cliffs, and 30 kilometres of unspoiled white beaches… A natural spectacle that is different each season, between the Andalusian provinces of Huelva, Seville and Cadiz.
Bodegas Barbadillo. The place to understand the difference between two wines that are both similar and different: Manzanilla and Fino. It seems an incongruity but once you are there you will understand why.
Lunch in the winery or at any restaurant nearby.
Bodega Hidalgo La Gitana. Visitors continue learning about Manzanilla Sherry.
Free Evening
Day 4 - JEREZ
This is a day to live great experiences. Jerez is known worldwide for three ingredients: wine, horses and flamenco. Today is the day to combine them all.
11:30 Horse Show at the Horse Riding School.
14:00 Bodegas Sandeman. Visit, tasting and tapas lunch
In the evening: dinner and flamenco at Tabanco El Pasaje
Day 5 – EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARÍA & CADIZ
Visit the Osborne Winery
Surrounded by centuries of history and in an unforgettable tour you will discover the cathedral of wine and brandy of Jerez: Bodegas Osborne. We will visit the facilities of the winery. They will explain Osborne from its origins and in this framework we will focus on the details of the iconic Bull through the Bull Gallery (the best advertising). Without having the name written down, we all recognise the black bull we see on the roads as the Osborne Bull). We will finish with a tasting of 4 wines that will make your visit a discovery.
Lunch at Toro Tapas.
We will cross the bay in a catamaran to get to Cadiz. It is a 20 minutes trip where we will contemplate all the coastal towns of the bay of Cadiz. Once at our destination, we will stroll through its streets, squares and beautiful buildings that had so much to do with the American trade many centuries ago.
Cadiz is a city surrounded by the sea except for the thin sliver of land that joins it to the mainland.
After the cultural walk, free time to enjoy the beach, the multiple shops in the area…
Day 6 – SEVILLA
A visit to Sevilla is a must.
Seville is one of those cities that has practically everything. Here you can take part in history while also experiencing a modernized city whose model of urban development promotes sustainability and quality of life.
Seville is a city that has fascinated its visitors since ancient times. An enclave of cultures over the centuries makes it a very special destination for any traveller.
We will walk through its historic centre and visit the most emblematic places: Guadalquivir River, Cathedral, Torre del Oro, Giralda…
Lunch in the city centre (on your own). We will recommend where to eat.
We will go back to Jerez and the evening time will be free.
Day 7 –JEREZ
This day we will visit two very different types of wineries. On the one hand, a small family winery, that produces very special and award-winning wines. On the other hand, a large
commercial winery; its brand is known almost all over the world and it is one of the most visited wineries in our world.
In the morning: Traditional family winery (Emilio Hidalgo).
Lunch at La Cruz Blanca.
In the afternoon, large commercial winery (González Byass).
Last dinner: Rice and organic wines at Bodega Casa del Marqués
Another great experience in an 18th century manor house. The house has its own wine cellar. Dinner will consist of a paella class combined with organic wines from the winery.
The best way to end this trip!
