This phenomena has resulted in an increased number of wine and spirit professionals worldwide looking to increase their knowledge and broaden their horizons. These professionals are eagerly seeking more practical educational platforms to develop their personal knowledge base. The world in Asia is fast paced, highly competitive and time is a treasure that cannot be replicated nor bought. Education is the key to entering any new profession. APWASI courses are curated and developed by Dr. Clinton Lee, who is an international wine lecturer, wine writer and critic who has delivered lectures to a wide body of audiences ranging from professional bodies to wine aficionados. He has been a lecturer at the Simon Fraser University in Canada, holds an MBA in Finance, a Hong Kong International Wine Judge and a frequent speaker at the Hong Kong International Wine Fair. Dr. Lee, has travelled to all the major wine regions of the world and infuses his wine knowledge with his Doctoral knowledge, which was based on Cultural Diversity and Organizational Culture. Using both specialized knowledge streams he effectively projects them as a bridge to explore other cultures. He has undertaken courses from the CWE, WSG and WSET. He has taught WSET and CWE programs. Dr Lee has lectured wine courses both in Canada and internationally in China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan Argentina, France, Hungary and Italy.
